UPDATE:  I have a new baby squirrel, his name is Tater.  He is about 2 weeks old I would guess.  Doesnt even have his eyes open.  He is drinking about 1/2 tsp of milk 2 or 3 times a day right now.  So far, he is doing pretty well.  I have only been able to raise one this young once.  I hope he makes it.  He has a nice warm heating pad in his bed to keep him warm.  If he does ok, and when his eyes are open, I will add photos.
Update:  Ivan the terrible killed little tater.  He was doing well, and sleeping on a heating pad to stay warm.  when hurricane Ivan came in, our power was out for a day,and he got too cold.  He couldnt recover.

On this page you will see Big Otis and Miss Daizy, Dudley the deer, and Bubba and Sissy the bobcats.

Big Otis

Otis or Big Otis, sometimes Big O, is a lab.  He is about 3 months old and loving and playful.  He tears up everything in sight right now too.  He loves to go play with the goats.  Tommy loves labs, so this was a anniversary gift from me to him.

This is Tater.  He is part Jack Russell and part Rat terrier.  He is just adorable and sweet and loves Otis!  David had never had a dog all his own, so I got this one for him.

Sissy and Bubba, supper time

Sissy and Bubba were under a load of wood my husband was loading.  To keep them from being killed, he got them out and brought them home to me.  They were so precious.  They took right to the bottle, and ate like pigs at feeding time.  I had them on a schedule and they slept or played until eating time. I fed them goat milk, which is very easy to digest.  I would have to feed Bubba first, because he would attack Sissy and bite her ear to try to get to the bottle if she was first.  They were so young, for the first week, I had to wash their butts so they would know to go to the bathroom, but finally they began going on their own.  After eating, they would climb and crawl all over me, or follow me thru the house wanting to be cuddled.  I would sit in the floor for an hr each feeding and love them.  Sissy loved to climb my shirt and get right in my face, but she wanted to climb on up over my face too, so i had to stop letting her do that.  She also enjoyed hiding under my chair, and peeking out at me.  Bubba just wanted love, wanted to lay on me and purr most of the time.  I sure do miss them, but I know they will be better off.  And so will the skin on my arms, legs and hands.  :)

Daizy

Daizy

Miss Daizy is part wirehaired terrier.  We got her from the pound almost two years ago.  She is so sweet and loving.  She is also our guard dog.  She is fierce when it comes to protecting her family.  She loves the goats too.  And she love Otis.  They wrestle and play all the time.

Fred

Meet Fred.  The newest member of the family.  Matthew couldnt stand the fact that David had a dog all his own, and he didnt so he came home with Fred. He is a blood hound.  Clumsey as an ox, but sweet as pie.

Dudley

Dudley

Dudley was a very young buck, who my husband rescued from certain death in the woods once again.  He was named Dudley, because he was found on Dudley Rd.  He would holler very loudly when he was hungry, and you better get that bottle in his mouth ASAP. I fed him goat milk also, because of its easiness to digest.  He was so sweet, and loved to suck on Davids ear lobe too, thinking it was food in there I guess.  He sounded just like a goat when he would holler.  I didnt realize how similar a deer and goat were, until we got both.  They are related, and eat, holler and act similar.

Taking a nap after feeding.
